Photoshop 7: positioning layers

Hi
I am trying to paste a logo at the bottom left of an image using
applescript in photosop 7.
I can paste the selection into a new layer but I can not position it to the
bottom left.
With photoscripter plug-in I was able to do it with this:

link the current layer linking {layer "Layer 1"} of the current document
align the linked layers of the current document using the bottom edges
align the linked layers of the current document using the left edges

but so far no luck without the photoscripter plug-in

Thanks for any help
