The reference I used is "Inside Macintosh: Sound", available in html or pdf
format at http://developer.apple.com/techpubs/mac/Sound/Sound-2.html

The embedded speech commands you quoted are dealt with in chapter 4. There's
a whole load of them! :-)

Oo er! Not sure about that. You may find the info you need in the above
reference, but be aware that it was produced in 1996. The info about
scripting speech commands is still good, but I can't vouch for the rest of
the book.
