Take a peek at the following page and Microsoft's requirements for their
wireless mouse -- especially the bit about being compatible with
MacOS (you need to page down to see it).
From the MS web page listing requirements for their IntelliMouse Explorer
wireless mouse <http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouse/wie_req.asp>:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To use Microsoft Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer and IntelliPoint mouse
software with the scroll wheel and all customizable buttons, you need:
* One of the following operating sytems:
o Mac OS 8.6 to 9.x
o Mac OS 10.1 to 10.3 (excluding Mac OS X)
* 15 MB of available hard-disk space
* An available USB port
----------------------------------------------------------------------
15 MB of code to run a mouse? yea gods!
