not loving the current syntax (text field of the tab item of the tab

Hello all,
I was reading the credits of the new book on Scripting Illustrator 10 and in
the credits the author mentions AS X as being a new OO oriented version of
AppleScript and he couldn't wait to get to use it....
Anyone else know rumors or more info?
