A short line in the comments field indicated what you lifted and who
wrote it is good for stuff in the public domain (which anything posted
here without some kind of copyright or usage notice could reasonably be
considered to be).
If someone puts a commented credit line in themselves, I generally copy
it verbatim (and I've taken to putting them in myself, not that I've
posted anything useful recently)
