It's that "english-like" language that's to blame, who would have thought it would be mistaken for real english. :-)

I don't see AppleScript as English, rather as the sequence of words that must be spoken to read computer code aloud.

p.s. FileMaker includes an excellent applescript reference with the standard installation.
