Francine,
Your request is very hard to understand. What type of items are you hoping
to delete - calendar events, tasks, email messages, contacts? And what do
you mean by "choosing the number of hours"? A time frame for calendar
events, or for email messages? I've written a number of AppleScripts, but I
can't identify any of mine from your description. So maybe it's someone
else's. Were you sent a link to
AppleScript Central <
http://www.applescriptcentral.com/>
to download a script there, or did someone send the script code in a message
on this list for you to copy and paste into Script Editor?
How did you lose the script, buy the way? Did you not save it as a compiled
script in the Entourage Script Menu Items folder in the Microsoft User Data
folder, as I'm sure you were advised to do? Your other message mentioned
"getting rid of the Microsoft folder". You might sometimes need to get rid
of the Microsoft folder in /Users/you/Library/preferences/, but you should
never get rid of /Users/you/Documents/Microsoft User Data/. Never.
