I think previous posts in this thread have satisfied the spirit of Andrew Oliver's challenge, if not the letter. More generally I wanted to speak to the intimations in this thread that do script in the Terminal is useless and should not be used in favor of do shell script. Its extremely useful if you want to hand a process off the the users, or show some form of progress on a unix command that can't be directly AppleScripted, such as SCP of a large file. _______________________________________________
