[ANN] Folder Action Manager 1.0.1

  • Subject: [ANN] Folder Action Manager 1.0.1

Good evening,

After reports today of a problem in Folder Action Manager 1.0 that could cause
the application to crash, I just released version 1.0.1. Everybody who
downloaded version 1.0 should get this new version. The detail of the fix is:

- Fixed an error that would occur silently when deleting the last script from a
folder action, and which could make the application crash on a subsequent run
after the folder had been deleted in the Finder.

I really hope this didn't cause too much trouble to anyone and I apologize for
the two releases in one day.

Folder Action Manager is a free utility to easily manage folder actions as well
as their associated scripts on Mac OS X.

- The main features of Folder Action Manager are the following.
- Runs on Mac OS X 10.1.2 or better.
- Localized in english and french.
- Lets you attach and detach scripts from any folder.
- Allows you to open attached scripts for editing in the application that
created the script.
- Automatically moves or copies attached scripts to their required location, as
you specify.
- Lets you disable folder actions without having to detach them.
