While John's pure Perl solution is faster and shorter than mine, It still seems like a lot of work to find out the name of a folder.
Sure, Chris Nebel could, I assume, add it to folders.h but that would only solve the problem for this one.

It seems to me that the real issue here is that we have to parse some very strange XML more and more frequently.
XML tools.osax spits these 'Defaults Read' XML things out at the first byte in my experience.

So, who wants Apple to add an addition to handle the parsing? How about one that can write them?
Is there a better solution than that? Has anyone broken the plist code with another tool?
I'd like to write a feature request, but I'm not sure what to ask for.

Opinions? No tirades please. The list is tart enough lately.
