iTunes Library 'selection'...

Hi All.

I'm madly scripting iTunes for Sony Ericsson Clicker, but need some
help from people (any Apple folks?)

When the 'current playlist' is the Library, then I would love to be
able to get the 'selection' made by Genre/Artist/Album lists.

Right now, it seems like that's not possible. Have I missed something?

Also, it seems like I'm only able to GET the current [visible]
selection, and not able to SET it. Is this really true?
