Run scripts from the keyboard?

  • Subject: Run scripts from the keyboard?

Hi, folks --

I'm new to the list, and I've written some very simple scripts, e.g. just to launch/activate an app like Word. What I'm hoping to find is a way to link the scripts to key commands, so that I can launch the scripts from the keyboard. I have MacroKey application, but it's too limited in what key commands it supports. I used to use KeyQuencer to do all of this, but it's not supported in OS X. QuickKeys is too expensive. Any suggestions?

T.i.a.
