To be honest, I was a bit surprised that it worked on my simple test doc. If
you believe the dictionary, it should be more like:
set style of text of document 1 to {on styles:{plain}}
but that fails. Something like the above works for QuarkXPress, as does the
form I posted -- which is the only reason I tried it with Word.
Consider it a case of what might have been...
