There is a fairly active Eudora list that I used while getting reacquainted with Eudora. I don't know it this link is for subscribing but it should at least get you to the right neighborhood.

While I can't give you a specific answer to your question I can say that Eudora has an amazing amount of seemingly undocumented tweaks that you can apply. They aren't undocumented of course but neither are they obvious until you start asking more experienced users.

I remember I hated the spell checking in Eudora until someone showed me how to changes it's sensitivity levels from the default. Now it's a part of a second slower to engage but it catches many more spelling errors. If you are going to use Eudora you really should track down that list of hacks and mods.
