If I do a 'path to me' I get the path to the host application running the script. Is there a way to get the path to the script file instead?

Not if the host application does not provide one. For instance Smile has the "user script file" property for that.

If yes, could some AS Master refresh my memory on how to convert the UNIX path to a usable path for 'run script' ?

That would be "run script (POSIX file theUNIXPath)", I think.
