Mike,
I take your question is asking if you can have an applescript that will
use the Network preference pane to select a previously configured
Location from the Location drop down and then apply it.
I have a script that I use when I am at different locations and need to
link to the Airport network at each location. The script presents a
message indicated the current selected location and then buttons to
make choices- other pre-configed locations, or leave it as is.
If this is what you need to accomplish, let me know.

Can you Script choosing the Network location in 10.2? This is for a
Powerbook G4 that is taken on the road a lot and uses Earthlink to

pictures to our FTP site. It would be good to script the location so
the
Photographer doesn't have to know a lot about OS X.
Thanks.
