System Events expires?

I discover that Folder Actions mysteriously quit working after several days of uptime. I always reboot both machines at the same time so when both lose Folder Actions on the same morning it's pretty easy to figure out what's going on.
I am running System Events 2.1.1 in 10.2.5, has anyone else noticed this phenomenon?
BTW, 10.2.5 is so reliable I can finally go indefinitely without rebooting, so this may have been happening in previous releases but I never got to the expiration date, which seems to be about 7 days.
