Does interprocess communication work at all over an AppleTalk network? Does anyone actually use it? Is there a problem with OS neXt talking to Classic?

Doug,

Forget all the rest, the meat is here.
I can work with X and X and 8.6 and X.
From X to 8.6, I have the same symptoms that you describe.
I can only mount X on 8.6 , not the other way around.
Could not find any way around it.
