Another newbie question...Is there a setting I need to check before I can record actions with AppleScript? I hit record, switched over to the Finder (which is supposed to be recordable, right?) and did some actions, but nothing showed up in the Script Editor. I'm using OSX 10.2.5.

The application needs to be recordable, and the only recordable app I have is BBEdit 6.5. Earlier and later versions are also recordable. Youst begin the recording in Script Editor, them switch ti BBEdit to have your actions recorded and finally swtich back to AScript Editor to stop recording. Not every action will be recorded.
