A product like iKey or QuicKeys can do this quite easily. You couldn't
do it with traditional AppleScript, since it is designed to script the
object model of a program, not its user interface. Apple's new UI
scripting might be able to do this (I haven't tried it) and Prefab
Player might be able to as well (I haven't tried it either.)
You can try iKey for free, and its shortcuts can be driven by scripts,
if you need to use AppleScript.

Hello,
I am looking for a script that would type in the contents of the
clipboard
into an application (namely Quark). A regular paste feature would put
the
entire clipboard in at one time. I would like to find a script that
would
type letter by letter what is in the clipbaord (including returns).
Has
anybody tried this before or heard of anyone trying this?
I am new to AppleScripts and woiuld like to start using/writing
them, so
any pointers on this should look or act like (or if someone has one of
these
laying around that would be great).
Thanks for your help,
Chris
