This is actually for AppleScript Studio but figure someone from this group will have an answer. The basic problem is that a file gets dragged to a table which shows the path to where the file is but if there are spaces in the path it throws it for a loop and puts it in semi POSIX format --here's an example so you get the idea of the problem: /Users/bob/Desktop/Some File.ext Because it's stored as a variable I can't use quotes around it or it as treated as a string, so I need a way to replace the spaces with something..underscores. Haven't been able to figure it out so if anyone knows how to replace spaces in a varialbe with another character please let me know.
Many thanks in advance.
Aaron
