again. I have 10.2.6, this is a communications problem.
use your imagination, I don't know the specific terminology you use.
even when I copy the nomenclature you offer, you tell me it's wrong.
but, at least I know how to do this.
you can search for all types of files from Aqua
choose
Finder > Go > Go to Folder
and click
type the name of the name of the parent directory in which you want the
search to be performed into the rectangular text-editing field, e.g.
//usr
after you have typed the name of the parent directory, look under the
text-editing field and click the Go button on the lower right hand
corner.
a folder window will open showing the contents of the directory you
entered.
at the upper right hand corner of the folder window is an oval
text-editing field
(it says Search underneath). enter the filename (or partial name) you
are looking for and press return
