you can search for all types of files from Aqua

choose
Finder > Go > Go to Folder

enter the main directory, e.g.
//usr

choose
Go

use the Search in the file viewer window to search all subdirectories.

Note: use caution in clicking on the icons, some are unix shortcuts which will cause problems (loops) if you click them. But you can look.

I'm trying to find the file of the UNIX command "osascript". Does anybody
know which directory this is in...or how to search for it. Find does not
work.
