use the Search in the file viewer window to search all subdirectories.
What's the file viewer window and where is the Search in it?
the "file viewer window" is what he is calling the directory window or
folder window.
Search is an oval text-editing field at the right of the tool bar. The
finder will display all files or folders that match what you type into
it. It is an "includes" search, so if you type "osa" it will return
all files and folders that contain "osa" including one called "Rosario"
