Incidentally I was mistaken to say that If I drop the released version of mail onto Script Editor it opens the most recent dictionary. I've been switching partitions so much recently. In fact it is impossible for me to open the dictionary for the released version, or to run it unless I restart in Jaguar, so the only way I can do anything with the released version is by walking to an old G3 unless I want to reboot into another partition to test it. Dedication has its limits! and beta testing is time-consuming enough already and not a very rewarding way to spend time.
