Seems to be working properly now. I've put up a quick web page at
<http://www.welc.cam.ac.uk/cacheTest/scriptToHTML.html> with some
explanations/notes, links to the output of running the script on itself, and
downloadable versions of the script plus a script for getting a script from
Safari to SE2.
Problems/suggestions/fixes eagerly awaited,
Nigel
As per your above URL, I downloaded it, saved it as an application,
double-clicked it, and got this error:
The variable thePath is not defined.
When I ran the application with SE2 also running, I got:
NSReceiverEvaluationScript Error: 4
When I ran the script from a folder inside the Script Menu with SE2
off, I got a blank AppleScript window (as SE2 launched, I guess) then
it disappeared. When I ran it from the Script Menu with SE2 also
running, SE2 activated and that was all. The application doesn't
appear to function as a droplet (I didn't examine its code.)
Awaiting further notices,
Jonathan
