OS9 + URL Access Scripting

l've got a problem with a text file when downloading it was URL Access
Scripting.
The file l'm downloading hasn't got an '.txt' extension so it strips off the
return characters. It's like it's downloading it in binary format... but URL
Access Scripting doesn't have a switch to select ascii.
l can't use a third party ftp program so l'm stuck with URL Access Scripting
as l'm also on OS9 and can't use OSX's curl.
Is it possible to open the file afterwards and replace the 'mac return' with
a \r or something?
Any feedback would be great!
Regards, Gary. ;-)
