Hello Stephan,
what version of QuarkXPress are you using? Under what Mac OS?
To insert 15 new facing pages with QXP 4.11 (or 5, or 6):
---
set nPages to 15
tell document 1 of application "QuarkXPress 4.11"
repeat with i from 1 to nPages
make page at end
end repeat
end tell
---
This works if you have a fresh document open with a facing-pages
master document "A-Master A".
But: if the user could have done any manual actions with the Layout
palette _before_ the script is run then you should specify the
master document to use...
---
set nPages to 15
tell document 1 of application "QuarkXPress 4.11"
repeat with i from 1 to nPages
set master spread of (make page at end) to "A-Master A"
end repeat
end tell
---
... else the the last *manual* action with a defined Master Page
is stored for the next *scripting* action.

I also tried to name the boxes in the master and it doesn't work with facing

page.
Don't show the Master pages while running a script. There is a conflict
between 'Master page' and 'current box'. Create and name the boxes on
the document's side and move them to the Master pages afterwards.
I have scripts for naming boxes. One for naming a single box, another
for naming many boxes. If you're interested then please tell me what
version of XPress you're using and I'll send them over.
