If the original poster wants EXIF data they could look at the imago plugin
for FMP (
http://www.abstrakt.com/imago.html). It's available for OS9 and
OSX and easily imports full EXIF data. It also generates a small thumbnail
and a file path which makes it an excellent choice for picture libraries in
FMP.
OK, it's not free but it is very good.
