Anyone know if there's a way to rig an Applescript to open a window
announcing "A Fax Has Arrived!" ?
It's pretty cool that Apple has designed Panther to send & receive
faxes, I don't know why they'd want to keep it a secret...
Well, that's not completely accurate----it is pretty obvious when you
open system Preferences that faxes can be received, since there's a
place to enter your fax number and all, but "sending" is another
matter. There isn't one word in Apple Help (an oxymoron if I ever
heard one) about "fax", but I was able to find out by doing an
Internet search that faxes are send-able by virtually any
Panther-running program that can print.
Anyway, it would be nice if a notification popped up when a fax
arrived, anyone got the inside scoop on how to make it happen?
