One could even argue that joining msn is a type of death... or at the very least, a selling of one's soul to the devil.

Going with a unix box over Copland wasn't quite a devil's deal... more like a mere loss of one's faith....

Actually I've believed for ten years before the merger that Mac OS should be built on a Unix base (kernel). That was my dream, though I never imagined it could include a full Unix to boot.
Too bad Cocoa's text editing system is infested with vermin. I need to file a bug report...
