Going back into FileMaker, I noticed that Album is still the active
window. I confirmed this by trying to set the value of a cell that
exists in the Album database from within the Disc tell block.
So my question is, how do I activate a window in FileMaker Pro (6.0 v1)?
Sorry to hear that FMP6 is being so finicky.
Can you add FM scripts to these databases? If so, create one called
"browseme" and have it perform the Browse script step. This is how I
bring db windows forward. You should then be able to run that script
from within AppleScript.
