Can AppleScript be used to perform a screen capture and ftp the file to a
remote computer. I have a Java application that is not scriptable and would
like to be able to capture a window and ftp the file to my website every 5
minutes. If so any pointers to code would be greatly appreciated.

Grab is not AppleScriptable.
Snapz Pro X is, though. Looks like you'd have to set up the
parameters ahead of time, and then you could 'tell app "Snapz Pro X"
to capture'.
Or maybe you could send a keystroke... dunno.
