You may have the problem I encountered after doing an archive & install,
namely that the Help cache was not updated.

more information regarding this phenomenon. You need to manually delete
the Help cache after upgrading to Panther.
This made me crazy for a day or so after upgrading to Panther. Does it make
sense that the upgrade process would not upgrade Help, or even give you a
hint that you may need to take some further action?
