This kind of thing is terribly depressing. How normally sane, rational
people can get talked into using execrable methods such as this by
unscrupulous `internet experts' under the misguided impression that it will
combat spam, beggars belief.
To apply it to a mailing list one has subscribed to is idiocy.
Yup. And a bit more irony: *My* spam filter trashed it!
My filter always trashes multipart mail, as that keeps virus
attachments and lots of spam away.
