Yes, I suspect it would. Try 'mount volume' for more useable results.
Unless you wanted Gary Larson's take on scripting, which would be the
"mooooont volume" command, IIRC. :-/
Even if you spelled it properly in the search, since the phrase 'mount
volume' is fairly common in computer usage you would have better luck if you
kept adding related terms to your query. Google is designed to do that.
I tried: "mount volume" applescript command
The results I got for that search seem immediately relevant to exactly that
command.

Check the dictionary of the Standard Additons OSAX on your own hard drive.
Open it in a script editor.
