I live in the only bilingual province in Canada, and I know the
correct spelling for most things French, but it's useless to spell it
correctly on this list because it gets killed by the list server. I
could have used $8E for the e acute, if that was actually readable.
I don't know why, but Apple has (or historically had) a particularly
strong French presence. Apple-Expo/Europe is in Paris (usually).
Among my personal friends, the developer with the longest Mac
experience is French. Started programming an Apple II when he was 12.
I envy him the years I wasted in the DOS world.
