Ideally I want the List address in the "To" field, not the "cc" field. I

Gnarlie,
You're using Entourage. It's the one email app (along with OE of yore) which
can solve this problem easily. You need to register AppleScript-Users as a
mailing list in Tools/Mailing List Manager. On the second page "Advanced",
click these buttons at the bottom: Override the list's reply default/ Always
reply to the list. Now all messages to which you click Reply will
automatically be directed to the mailing list, not to the sender. (If you
look in the Source, you'll see that all list message are TO the mailing
list, not FROM it. The MLM uses this knowledge when you register a mailing
list.) You should also accept the offer to create a contact for the list
when you click OK - it ensures that no list message will get marked as Junk.
