AppleScript and CF/NS Notifications

Hello all,

Is there any way in AppleScript to observe and to post CoreFoundation (or Cocoa) Notifications?

(I don't mean visual alerts, in fact I'm posting notifications from my application using NSNotificationManager and I want AppleScript programs to be able to catch them)

I wasn't able to find anything in the documentation, but it might obvious.

Maybe there is a third-party OSAX to do that?

If I need to write one myself, does anyone know if there is some high-level function to convert a CFDictionary into an AERecord and back?

Thanks in advance for your insight.

Paul
