hello list
I'm a rank beginner with AppleScript , so: sorry !
I need a script to force the preference sound to output a stereo sound to the left or to to the right.
OK. My problem is that I need a script which will work in all languages (french, english, .
I began with:

tell application "System Preferences"
activate
set current pane to pane "com.apple.preference.sound"
end tell
(* I'm stuck now...
May be something like this ?

tell application "System Events"

tell slider ? of group ? of window ? of process "System Preferences"

set value to 0 (* left
end if
end tell
end tell

Sorry for such a misery !
Thank you for your help...
