Bug in Safari or Finder (was File Name Manipulation)

Actually, it would be a problem, which is why I didn't do it.

Wanna hear another weird thing? If I ask Safari to Open File and navigate to this folder (containing 509 HTML files whose creator codes are now set to Safari), the folder's contents aren't displayed--just a dead end at the folder. If I go ahead and click Open on the folder, it opens...in the Finder!

Apple, are you reading this?

Already tried doing it in the Finder. I selected all the files in the
folder (all 509 of them) and tried to Get Info. The Finder hung with a
spinning beach ball. Had to force-relaunch it.

You don't have to select all the files in the folder. Select only one
and use the "Change All..." button. This will, however, change all the
html files on your disk, not just the ones in that folder. Would that
be a problem?
