This would be an excellent and easily attainable AppleScript Studio
project. Go for it and you can keep your nails clean because
everything's just a scripting call.
You know, I've been wondering whether I should bother with ASStudio at
all,
considering that I'm definitely learning Cocoa (using Obj-C) anyway. I
understand the performance of Studio apps is fairly pokey. I think I'm
fairly proficient in AppleScript at this point, and I generally know
my way
around Interface Builder and Project Builder--just how much of a
learning
curve are we talking about for Studio?
If you already know how to use Interface Builder and have some
AppleScript, maybe 10 minutes. I'm not kidding. The whole learning
curve for Studio for me was/is to learn how to control click on a UI
object and drag over to the handler. If you know some Obj-C I think
you'll feel right at home. There are some excellent examples in the
Developer folder. Definitely a good starting point to work from one of
those.
Best wishes,
