I am a newly switched Mac user. Mail is great, but i really miss

a line to copy, then pastes the line to the message, and how would i
activate the script from within the mail editor?
You don't need a script to do that; enter your tag lines into mail.app,
and choose "randomly" from the popup menu in the Signatures pane of
Mail's preferences dialog.
