Path to me broken?

  • Subject: Path to me broken?

Has 'path to me' stopped working when run as an application in OS X 10.2.3?
Seems unlikely, but I can't think what I'm doing wrong.

If I save the following:

display dialog (path to me as string)

as an AppleScript application, without showing startup screen and not as
Stay Open, I still get a dialog telling me to "Press Run to run this script,
or Quit to quit." dialog.

If I press run, I get a further dialog "Could not run the script "untitled"
because of a program error. -1408". Clicking on the Edit button returns
another error "Could not run a script editor because of a disk error. -38"

The script runs fine from Script Editor and Script Debugger.

I even get an the same errors with just 'path to me' saved as an
application, so it's nothing to do with the 'display dialog' bit. 'Display
dialog "Hello"' works as expected, so it must be something to do with 'path
to me'.

Does anyone else get the same error?

Simon
