thsi script dont open the big white status window but OTOH it
disconnects as soon as the connection is made; in other words it
doesnt wait for eudora to complete sending and checking what am I
missing ?

tell application "Finder"
activate
select file "Remote Access" of folder "Kontrolpaneler" of folder
"Systemmappe" of startup disk
open selection
end tell
RA connect
tell application "Eudora Pro"
connect with sending and checking
end tell
RA disconnect
end run
