Well, thanks to all who tried to help me. Unfortunately as some of you guessed,
changing the .plist file behind the back of iBeeZz did not work. Or rather, it
worked as long as I opened up the iBeeZz preference pane (presumably forcing it
to read the file).

Rob Jorgensen suggested that I was wrong to think that the iBeeZz preference
couldn't be directly scripted, so I will go back to UI Browser and take another
look at it. Wish me luck, but my next free weekend is two weeks away.

Oh, and "defaults read net.reboute.iBeeZz" said that domain does not exist. The
file is in /Library/Preferences (i.e., the top Library and not the user
Library). For whatever good that does. :)
