Hello,
I'm trying to use applescript printing a range of pages from Acrobat. We are
using MacOS 9.0.4. We have 500-108 page pdfs that need printed in 12 page
chunks. I looked around on the web and tried hours of trial and error with no
success. The Acrobat dictionary has a 'print pages' listing (with first and
last). I was going to use a variable here and increment it by 6 (they're 2
page spreads). I got the check syntax to work but couldn't get it to
run--with errors from -1723 to -1728. I tried it as a folder action and
printing right from the run script. Both ways, I could print the whole
document but not a range of pages. I am no expert at scripting and I think
that is hurting me now. Does anyone know of any sample scripts that involve
printing page ranges (in any program) or know of any gotchas in doing what
I'm trying to do. I've had no luck getting meaningful infomation from the
search engines (I assume the osx info wouldn't apply to classic?).
Thanks for any help.
