100% faster = 2x faster.
200% faster = 3x faster.
300% faster = 4x faster.
400% faster = 5x faster.
500% faster = 6x faster.
600% faster = 7x faster.
700% faster = 8x faster.
800% faster = 9x faster.
Which leads us therefore to conclude that 900% = 10x faster.
So 100x faster would be 9,000% faster. But this sounds like 9x to the
untrained ear.
The lesson: do not use percentages greater than 100%. They are always
confusing.

I'd say "No" again.
100% faster is 2x AS FAST. Which is different than "2x faster."
"1x faster" is not the same as "1x as fast." It's twice as fast. If you
go 60 MPH, we can say 1x = 60 MPH. If I go 120 MPH, I'm going 60 MPH
faster than you. 1x faster than you Which is twice as fast as you. But
only 1x fastER.
