Ya gotta pronounce the "ed" at the end of the second line, sort of like
what you hear in Shakespeare (no comparison implied) instead of
stepping on it like modern English.
Given how far behind I am reading the digests, I'll probably find that
this has already been mentioned. Oh well. Just wanna participate...
