So, if you go back to see what John Baxter posted in the same thread, you
come upon this:

I think that's what he wants, for reasons I don't know. I think this form of
AppleEvent coding is used outside of AppleScript whereas "our" raw events
with <<chevrons>> is only used in AppleScript, no?
